Dull scissors can make a simple job more difficult.
Here's an easy way to sharpen your scissors using something you probably already have at home--aluminum foil.
Fold a strip of foil so that you have 6 to 8 layers of foil. Cut through the strip several times with the scissors.
That's it! Sharper scissors just like that.
This is a great use for used, crumpled foil that you were going to discard of anyway. After you make the cuts in the foil, you could even crumple the foil into a ball and use it like you would a steel wool pad.
