When you need to break an expensive coffeehouse habit, try making these yummy iced mochas. They are every bit as good as the iced mochas you get at a coffeehouse and much less expensive.
If you have coffee left over from your morning pot, make coffee ice cubes to use in this recipe. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, you may want to double brew the coffee before you make it into ice cubes. We use the leftover coffee straight from the pot.
6 coffee ice cubes
2 cups milk
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup white sugar
Whipped cream and chocolate sauce for garnish
In a blender, combine coffee ice cubes, milk, chocolate syrup and sugar. Blend until smooth. If desired, drizzle additional chocolate sauce along the inside of the glasses. Fill glasses with ice and the iced mocha. Garnish with whipped cream and additional chocolate sauce, if desired.
