To keep wrapping paper rolls wound tight, secure them using empty toilet paper rolls. Simply slice an opening in the roll as shown above, then wrap the roll around the wrapping paper.
The cardboard toilet paper roll holds the wrapping paper together without the damage rubber bands may cause.
