My Recycled Cookbook Holder

Part of being prudent is being resourceful. One of my favorite prudent activities is to give something old a new life, and often a new use. My "new" cookbook holder was once a brass book holder. Over the years the brass had become pitted and unsightly.

I used black spraypaint to give the holder a new life in my kitchen. Since I keep most of my recipes and menu plans in binders, this holder keeps papers visible while I work.
