Skip the Trip and Just Click # 2: Vitafusion Multivites and Scott 1000 Bath Tissue

Last week, I told you how I've been fascinated lately with the online deals available on "everyday essentials". I just love the convenience of shopping online with the items delivered right to my door. It's one less thing to think about and so much more convenient.

So I decided again this week to compare prices at a brick-and-mortar store with what is available online. Since my store of choice is usually Target, and I get their sale circular delivered to my door, I am once again comparing the price of an item I would normally purchase at Target with the price at Amazon.

Vitafusion Multivites are on sale at Target this week. The sales circular features the 70 ct. size for $5.50 ($.08 per vitamin).

Compare that to the price available right now at Amazon. Get Vitafusion Multi-vite, Gummy Vitamins For Adults, 150-Count for as low as $8.15 ($.05 per vitamin) when you order using Subscribe and Save.

Amazon currently has this item priced at $10.19 ($.07 per vitamin). Even without the Subscribe and Save discount, Amazon beats the Target sale price.

Check out using the Subscribe and Save option to save 5-20%. With a 20% discount, the final price is $8.15, or $.05 per vitamin, shipped to your door.

Here's another example:

In today's sales circular, Target advertises Scott 1000 sheet bath tissue (15-pk.) for $9.99 ($.67 per roll).

Right now at Amazon, you can get Scott 1000 Bath Tissue, 1000 Sheet Rolls (20 Rolls) for as low as $.52 per roll shipped to your door.

Amazon currently has this item priced at $14.86. Clip the available $1.50 off coupon located below the product description. You must be logged in to view the coupon. This brings the price to $13.36 ($.67 per roll).

Check out using the Subscribe and Save option to save 5-20%. With a 20% discount, the final price is $10.39, or $.52 per roll shipped to your door.

And just one more example:

Target has Nice 'n Easy on sale this week for $5.99. Get Clairol Nice 'N Easy Hair Color for as low as $3.75 shipped to your door at Amazon.

Amazon currently has this item priced at $7.19. Clip the available $2.00 off coupon located below the product description. You must be logged in to view the coupon. This brings the price to $5.19.

Check out using the Subscribe and Save option to save 5-20%. With a 20% discount, the final price is $3.75.

More and more I am finding that I would rather skip the trip and just click.

Make a Trip or Just Click? Comparing Prices

I've been fascinated lately with the online deals available on "everyday essentials". I just love the convenience of shopping online with the items delivered right to my door. It's one less thing to think about and so much more convenient.

So I decided this week to compare prices at a brick-and-mortar store with what is available online. My first attempt at comparison proves my point.

Scott Extra Soft Double Roll toilet paper is on sale this week at Target. The Sunday ad features a 24-pk. of double roll bath tissue for 9.99. That comes to $.42 per roll.

Compare that to a deal available right now at Amazon.
At Amazon, get Scott Extra Soft Bath Tissue Rolls, 36 Count for as low as $.40 per roll when you combine the available coupon with a Subscribe and Save discount.

Amazon currently has this item priced at $20.59 ($.57 per roll). Clip the available $2.00 off coupon located below the product description . You must be logged in to view the coupon. This brings the price down to $18.59 ($.52 per roll).

Check out using the Subscribe and Save option to save 5-20%. With a 20% discount, the final price is $14.47, or $.40 per roll, shipped to your door.

More and more I am finding that I would rather skip the trip and just click.
